Lewes and District Garden Soc will be presenting Kathrine Lynn in a talk entitled "Who's been sleeping in my bed?" on Oct 4th at 7-30pm at Eastgate Baptist Church Hall, Eastgate St. Lewes, BN7 2LR.

Kathrine is a keen amateur gardener with a number of gardening qualifications.  She will be looking at some of the people who have given their names to our garden plants.

She says:  Have you ever wondered why plants are named as they are? I had a Hydrangea named April Hollamby, you won't find it in any plant catalogue.  Was there a Mrs Popple who gave us Johnson's Blue? My talk looks at the people behind the plants.
