About

Emily Peacock returns for a creative weekend using Bloomsbury motifs to create your own needlecraft. Using inspiration from our unique setting Emily will help you develop your designs from paper to canvas. You will be guided through your colour choices and execution over the weekend course. The course takes place over two days in Rodmell village hall, with exclusive access to Monk's House and a unique opportunity to get personal instruction from Emily herself.

All materials included, all skill levels welcome. Please bring your own packed lunch as only light refreshment is provided.

Road Directions

Rodmell is a small rural village located roughly 4 miles south of Lewes and 5 miles north of Newhaven on the C7 road. NB: no access from A6, postcode unsuitable for SatNav devices. Please park in the National Trust car park which is located on The Street, 100 yards beyond Monk's House. Note there is a height restriction of 6'6''.

Public Transport Directions

By train
The nearest mainline station is in Lewes. Southern Trains also stop at Southease Station which is approx. 25min walk to Monk's House.

By bus
The main service is the 123 bus travelling in both directions Lewes to Newhaven. It operates 7 days per week and stops near the pub in Rodmell, a short walk from Monk's House.
