On Friday 3rd June, to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee, Newhaven Museum will be displaying photographs of royal visits to Newhaven, alongside those of local celebrations and street parties from past jubilees. There will also be a display of royal souvenirs donated or loaned to the museum by local residents. Younger visitors will be able to try their hand at free jubilee-inspired crafts.
The museum will be open from 11am to 4pm on 3rd June and entry is free. The event will be launched by the Town Crier who will deliver the Platinum Jubilee Cry at 11am.
