Newhaven Secret Edgelands Walk 2022

About

Join Storyteller Jamie Crawford to tread a path of constant surprises between town and country on this wide-ranging walk around Newhaven. The walk will be punctuated with breaks to hear stories of Newhaven, the Ouse Valley and beyond.
This circular four-mile route is suitable for walkers able to maintain a reasonable pace over varied terrain that includes sloping, uneven and muddy ground. Newhaven Secret Edgelands Walk is an all-weather event so come dressed for the British Summer. Well-behaved dogs and owners are welcome, on the understanding that the walk takes in cliff-tops and busy roads, and dogs will have to be on the lead much of the time.

The walk will begin and end at the Sidings Bistro (01273 905500) very close to Newhaven Town Station, where refreshments will be available.

Ages 12 and upwards.
