Richard Pelling: Oil Paintings

Born in London, Richard Pelling spent his childhood in both France and London. He first studied art at West Sussex Collage of Art, before completing a BA at the Central St Martins School of Art & Design in London.

Although painting has long been an important part of his life, he began a career in textile design, working mostly from London, but also in Japan and North America, with clients including Missoni, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein. Alongside this, he also taught at London’s St Martin’s College of Art, and now paints full time from his studio in Lewes, East Sussex.
