His family are the McCarthys who settled there generations ago. Thomas comes from a long line of old traditional singers & musicians who kept the tradition of singing strong.The workshop will cover traditional traveller songs, stories old & new, and the realities of traveller life today together with its history. As well as being a spellbinding performer, Thomas is a gifted teacher in great demand at schools, festivals and traditional music venues at home & abroad. ON SATURDAY 7th.
