Particular British and Irish Trees - An illustrated talk with Paul Wood.

Paul Wood, best known for his books about trees in London, has managed to get beyond the M25!

For his next book, Paul is researching great trees found in towns, cities and villages throughout Britain and Ireland.  In this fully illustrated talk, Paul will discuss his journey so far and will introduce us to 20 trees that have particularly caught his attention in towns and cities from the north of Scotland to Cornwall, and the west of Ireland to Norfolk.

Paul is working on a book of 1,000 trees to be published by Penguin in 2023.  He has spent the last 18 months travelling around the UK and Ireland and still has a few places to tick off.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the talk, and Paul would be very pleased to receive suggestions of great trees in towns and cities he should know about.  If you'd like to suggest one, please get in touch via Paul's website: thestreettree.com where you can also read more about this research.
