Discover the ancient art of painting with molten wax. In this hands-on workshop, we invite you to explore the ancient and luminous medium of Encaustic. Using the R&F encaustic range, you'll learn how to work with beeswax, resin, and pigment to create works of depth and texture.
We will guide you through the basics: from melting and fusing layers with heat to scraping back, incising, and embedding mixed media.
No previous experience is required, just some curiosity and playfulness.
All materials are included in the price. We provide the R&F paints, brushes, panels, and heating tools, so you can simply turn up and create.
