Bishopstone station - exhibition display

About

Friends of Bishopstone Station (FOBS) are delighted to announce that the newly restored Platform Waiting Room is now open to visitors. Officially unveiled in June, the once disused space has been transformed into a welcoming heritage room featuring a permanent exhibition on the history of the Ouse Estuary.

The displays explore the stories of Tide Mills, the wartime Seaplane Station, and the development of Bishopstone Station itself. Created by FOBS volunteers drawing on local archives and community research, the exhibition offers an engaging look at how this stretch of coastline has evolved over time.

Plus, refreshments and souvenirs available in the main station building. All are warmly invited to come along and discover more about our local heritage.
