Join us for a fascinating evening with author Heather R Darsie, as she talks about her new book, Children of the House of Cleves: Anna and Her Siblings. The first book to look at the lives of Anna of Cleves' siblings, particularly her powerful brother Wilhelm V and her elder sister Sybylla, and their interactions with the Holy Roman Empire, England, and France, which had a significant impact on the Reformation.
What venue better to hold this book launch than Anne of Cleves House in Lewes, a stunning 15th Century timber-framed medieval house that was owned by Anne herself.
Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, followed by a presentation by Heather about her new book, Children of the House of Cleves: Anna and Her Siblings.
Copies of Heather's book will be available to buy on the day, and you may have them signed if you wish.
