Easter Fun at Lewes Castle

Celebrate the Easter holidays with family-friendly activities at Lewes Castle.

This spring, young explorers and curious visitors are invited to discover stories, crafts and hidden surprises around the historic castle grounds.

Find the Hoppity Hares – 28 March – 12 April
Ten mischievous hares are hiding around the castle grounds – can you find them all? Visitors can pick up a trail sheet and explore the castle as they search for each hidden hare.

Storytelling with Trevor – 1 & 7 April
Visitors are invited to gather round for magical tales with storyteller Trevor, who will bring myths, legends and traditional stories to life within the atmospheric setting of Lewes Castle. Perfect for families.

Once the trail is complete, visitors can visit the craft station to make and decorate their own hare to take home. Craft sessions will run on 31 March, 2 April, 8 April and 9 April, offering a fun and creative activity for children during the Easter break.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
