Young Artists Creative Workshop with artist Sam Ford from UDSO.
A hands-on1-day workshop helping 16-25year olds explore contemporary art techniques. This workshop invites artists to explore how care, memory, and curiosity can be expressed through using a range of materials. You'll investigate how memories are held, triggered, or transformed through tactile and visual processes.
Through guided experimentation, create as a way of remembering, testing how texture, colour, gesture, and form can evoke personal or collective narratives. The session encourages playful inquiry, reflective making, and an open‑minded approach to contemporary art formats.
By the end of the day you will have made a range of artworks that can be displayed in Emerging Sussex at BN9 studio in September for Artwave.
