In association with Depot Cinema, Lewes Town Council and The Mayor of Lewes are hosting a fundraiser for Lewes Foodbanks at 8pm on Wednesday 13th March at Depot Cinema in Lewes with the screening of The White Diamond, a documentary by Werner Herzog.
The documentary is an exciting portrayal of one man's obsession to fly whilst being haunted by past failure in the surroundings of Guyana, its people and nature.
The screening will be followed by a short discussion with the Mayor of Lewes, Councillor Matthew Bird, Audrey Jarvis of Lewes Swifts and poetry from celebrated poets, John Agard and Grace Nichols.
