You will create spray-paint artwork that you can be proud of. Street art is now part of the UK curriculum, but opportunities to work with authentic, artist-grade pressurised spray paints are rare. In this course, you will have access to a wide range of professional stencils and eco-friendly, health-conscious paints. This is an award-winning, inclusive teaching format developed by the course mentor to ensure that participants of all abilities can produce artwork of a high aesthetic standard while enjoying full creative freedom.
Following essential health and safety training, you will be guided through foundational spray-can control techniques, progressing toward advanced layering, stencil work, and fully realised finished pieces. As skills develop, students may explore larger-scale applications, including mural concepts, furniture upcycling, and collaborative projects (Intermediate & Advanced levels). This class structure has already been successfully delivered in primary and secondary school settings. Introductory Class The Intro Class is a stand-alone, entry-level experience designed to spark creativity and build confidence. You will create an artwork on an item such as a T-shirt, 12” vinyl record, or canvas to take home. Even first-time participants achieve strong visual results, as the sessions are carefully designed to balance high-quality outcomes with creative independence.
