Internationally acclaimed pianist Melvyn Tan returns to Charleston with a summer edition of 'Music + Word' – an evening of sound and language that tunes into the natural world.
Created with Charleston in mind, the performance pairs the music from masters of mood and movement, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, with words from Dylan Thomas, Virginia Woolf, John Clare and Vita Sackville-West – writers who captured the wildness, stillness and rhythm of the landscape.
