In celebration of Sir John Rutter's 80th birthday NSS will sing some of the composer's best loved works and those of his friends and contemporaries.
Accompanied by a jazz trio and led by musical director Seb Charlesworth the concert features Rutter's Birthday Madrigals, George Shearing's Songs and Sonnets from Shakespeare and excerpts from Iain Farrington's wildly upbeat Jazz Cantata, Then Sing We All.
Alongside favourites by Rutter the programme will showcase his abilities as an arranger with his settings of Hoagy Carmichael's Skylark and Henry Mancini's Moon River.
Doors open at 6pm so that early guests can sip a glass of wine and listen to the jazz trio before the main concert at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased on the door or in advance from www.newsussexsingers.co.uk
