Peacehaven Town Council is delighted to announce the official launch of the Peacehaven Meridian Line Meander, a new community walking route celebrating the unique position of Peacehaven on the Prime Meridian — the line of 0° longitude that divides the Eastern and Western Hemispheres of the Earth.
The inaugural walk will take place on Monday 17th November 2025, starting at 9:30am from the Meridian Monument, located at 96 The Promenade (Cliff Top), Peacehaven BN10 8LN.
This guided meander offers residents and visitors alike the chance to explore Peacehaven's stunning coastal scenery while discovering the town's history. The route has been designed to be accessible, engaging, and suitable for walkers of all ages.
Local community groups and walking enthusiasts are warmly invited to join the launch event. Light refreshments will be available at the end of the walk at our Welcome Café in Community House.
