Chasing dinosaurs! Geologist Roger Smith will deliver a talk on Mantell's many trips around the county of Sussex and the South East in the early 19th century.
From these visits Mantell gathered numerous fossils, helped draw the earliest geological maps and in the process discovered and named at least six ancient dinosaurs for the first time.
Roger will describe some of the many people Mantell met on his travels.
