Pam and de Femmes are a Lewes-based band singing an eclectic range of songs from all over the world.
They started in March 2019 as a foursome of females doing calypso interludes for an evening of poets with Caribbean roots. Later that year they were joined by a rhythm section of bass and cajon. They extended their repertoire to include unearthed treasures new and old from around the globe, sung in Spanish, Hungarian, Czech, Swedish, German, Italian, Polish and many more.
Now they are a seven piece band featuring two (sometimes three) voices, accordion, violin, ukulele, bass, cajon, percussion, flute, guitar and trombone.
