Humour is one of the most powerful ways to connect with people - when we laugh, especially together in a group, our brains release endorphins which creates a sense of camaraderie which is good for mental health.
At this Jester's Journey event - we will explore how you can release humour and story sharing at work to foster positive team spirit, good mental health and a sense of belonging.
We will delve into the topic of banter (teasing) and discuss when it's appropriate.
You will hear from local guest storytellers who will share their "Beast" stories. A beast is an unexpected and absurd experience you later laugh about.
You will also experience a performance from Living Room Circus.
