About

The much loved Sussex Gin & Fizz Festival makes its return to Lewes this summer - refreshed, rebooted and more sparkling than ever!

Join us in the beautiful walled gardens of Southover Grange for a celebration of exceptional gins and sparkling wines made in Sussex. Visitors can enjoy free samples, learn about the production process, and buy drinks by the glass or bottle direct from the makers.   To complement that perfect G&T or glass of fizz, local artisan food producers will be serving up the best of Sussex street food, cakes, savouries, sorbets and more.

This year we’ll be joined by South Downs Cider, serving their own iconic brews and a selection of locally made craft beers from their horsebox bar, while the Sloe Gin co will be mixing up delicious and innovative cocktails in the vintage caravan.

There’ll also be a string quartet, DJ and a brilliant line up of live music on the amazing Airstream Stage.

The family friendly daytime session, from 1 – 5pm, offers a laid back village fete feel, while the 6 – 10pm over 18s only evening event will see the music cranked up and Southover Grange Gardens transformed into a twinkling Gin & Fizz palace.

Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.com or Lewes & Seaford Tourist Ginformation Centres. Until midnight on 30th April, early bird adult tickets for both sessions are available for just £12. From 1st May they'll be £15, while daytime only tickets for 3 – 17 year olds are £5, and under 3s are free – though tickets must be booked  to ensure safe visitor numbers.

There will be a limited number of tickets available on the door, but please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Southover Grange is close to Lewes railway station, with good links to London, Brighton, Eastbourne and beyond. The Brighton & Hove 28 and 29 buses pass regularly through Lewes High Street, just 5 minutes’ walk away. Parking in central Lewes is limited, so please travel by public transport.

Drinks vendors will operate the Challenge 25 policy and ID will be checked on the gate.

Alcohol cannot be brought into the venue, and only sealed bottles purchased on the day can be taken away. Some seating will be provided, but visitors are welcome to bring their own.

Only assistance dogs are allowed in Southover Grange Gardens. The site is fully accessible, with an accessible toilet provided within the event space.
