The event will take place in the surrounds of the stunning Southover Grange Gardens which is in full bloom and looking its very best. This year for the first time they will be running an evening session festooned with fairy lights to create a magical outdoor gin palace with live music supplied by Union Music Store. If you are visiting during the day, you can also attend some talks by experts and learn a little about how your drinks are produced.

This year looks to be bigger and better than ever with a wide range of local gins and locally produced sparkling wines from our local vineyards. And the best bit, you get to sample their artisan wares. If you prefer a cocktail or a beer, the Coppertop Bar will be on hand to shake things up a little, and Harvey's Brewery will be serving their locally brewed ales too for those who prefer a pint.

Not only will you enjoy the best gin and fizz in the district, the food on offer this year is mouthwatering. Italian street food by local favourites Caccia & Tails, flavoursome Morrocan delights by Kabak and fine quality barbeque by Garlic Wood Farm. If you're the designated driver don't panic, Vintage Scoops will be selling gorgeous ice-cream from their retro van, and God Save the Bean will be on hand with some rather excellent coffee.

Southover Grange Gardens

Grange gardens were once the private garden of the grange built in 1542 by William Newton and briefly the home of John Evelyn the diarist. The gardens are a little piece of heaven on earth right in the centre of Lewes town, a lovely peaceful thing to do!
